Veyond Metaverse, Inc. (“Veyond Metaverse,” “we,” “us”) provides the Veyond Connect extended-reality communication platform and related services. This notice describes how we collect, use, protect, and retain personal information in connection with our website and services, and how to contact us about it.
• Business contact information — such as name, work email address, organization, and role — when you or your organization create Veyond Connect accounts, contact us, or engage our services.
• Service records — limited operational records for the Veyond Connect platform, such as business-user account information and session participation records (participants and session start/end times).
• Technical information — standard server log information generated when you use our website orplatform, retained for a limited period for security and operations.
Live session audio and video on Veyond Connect is transmitted encrypted and is not recorded or stored by default. Veyond Metaverse does not store patient health information at rest on the platform.
We use personal information to provide, operate, secure, and support our services; to manage accounts and communicate with business users; to meet contractual and legal obligations; and to protect the security of our platform and users. We do not sell personal information.
Where Veyond Metaverse provides the Veyond Connect platform to a customer organization, we act as a data processor (or equivalent role under applicable law): we process personal data on the customer's instructions under our agreement with that customer, and the customer controls the purposes of processing and applicable retention requirements.
We use a limited set of service providers todeliver the platform: Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting, United States), Agora (encrypted real-time audio/video transmission; no content stored), and Meta Horizon managed services (headset device management). Providers are engaged under data-processing terms and may process information only as needed to provide their service. We may also disclose information where required by law.
We protect information using measures that include encryption in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher), AES-256 encryption at rest, two-factor authentication, role-based access controls, and documented security policies with executive accountability.
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, under our Data Retention and Deletion Policy. For example, business-user account information is deleted from active systems within 30 days after account closure or contract termination, and session participation records are retained for 90 days, unless a customer agreement requires otherwise or law requires longer retention.
Our services are hosted and administered inthe United States. Where personal data is transferred to us from other jurisdictions, we support appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object toor restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or for any privacy question, contact us and we will respond consistent with applicable law. If your data relates to a customer deployment, we may refer your request to that customer as the data controller.
